Maintel have been a partner of BNP Paribas Personal Finance for over 10 years. During this period, BNPP PF have achieved increased customer satisfaction and significant savings. In 2019 this relationship expanded with Maintel also becoming BNPP PF’s provider of mobility services.
BNPP PF evaluated a number of proposals from differing network partners. Best and final offers were presented in Solihull as part of the evaluation process.
On review of all these proposals the contract was awarded to Maintel as the new supplier based on their proven track record in delivering a high level of service coupled with a very attractive new commercial offer.
After extensive analysis, the evaluation team decided the best option was to move the contract from Vodafone to a new three-year one with Maintel and O2. By moving tariff, BNPP PF made savings in excess of 66% on their previous spend.
The Maintel proposal was successful from a combined overall technical and commercial perspective and provided the best overall Value for Money proposal against BNPP PF’s requirements.
The subsequent implementation project consisted of three phases:
Phase 1 - Understand connections
A reconciliation exercise to check used and unused connections showed the estate could be right sized.
Phase 2 - Understand usage, reduce spend
Data usage had been increasing over a six-month period due to new starters joining and also the increase in remote working.
Usage analysis determined that a new tariff would better suit the way they worked by providing an increased data allowance as well as being more generous than the existing contract.
